During the 1950's, the shoreline extended to the doors of the Historic Concession Stand. Think of a hot beach day where you get an ice cream or a NEHI soda with the beach right at your feet. This was the place to be for cold treats. The Concession Stand also rented and sold items like towels, umbrellas or beach wear for any patrons that might have left something at home. To this day the Concession Stand is used for a variety of events where you can have a cold drink and take in the beach views all day.
